USATSI_7706606_149008644_lowresLate Wednesday night, the Toronto Raptors were able to secure one of the biggest free agents on the market, agreeing to a four-year contract to re-sign point guard Kyle Lowry. Lowry posted a picture on Instagram confirming the news:

Lowry was arguably the top point guard on the market after averaging 17.9 points, 7.4 assists and 4.7 rebounds per game with Toronto last season. The scrappy guard was a target of the Miami Heat, Houston Rockets and Los Angeles Lakers, but instead chose to remain with the Raptors.

Now that Lowry is signed, expect the point guard market to shift to Darren Collison, a handful of other veteran PGs and restricted free agents young stars Eric Bledsoe and Isaiah Thomas.
