As we all know from our social media feeds, office cooler conversations or from nationwide sports coverage, soccer season is in full swing! And along with soccer taking over the summer, it also brings out the patriot in fans from every nationality that can't wait to rep their country in the cup. Are you one of those fans? Then here's your chance to prove it with the BACARDÍ Untameable Fan contest!
The rules of the contest are simple: let BACARDI know what you'd be willing to sacrifice for a chance to win a trip to one of the countries in the final match of the cup where you'll get to watch the game with the world's most untameable fans, and you could be the winner!
Interested? Of course you are! All you have to do is go to Make a Sacrifice to submit your entry, upload a photo of what your sacrifice would be, and name your sacrafice. That's it. It's that easy.
Want to know what you're up against? Then can check out the BACARDÍ Untameable Fan "Sacrifice Gallery" to find out what others are willing to give up for their chance to watch the game with some crazed fans rooting for their team in their home country.
I must admit, I wasn't the biggest soccer fan before the cup this year. But seeing the excitement of my friends, co-workers and the overwhelming support by US fans everywhere won me over. I wanted to be a part of something that brought out so much passion and enthusiasm for a sport that is often overshadowed by mainstream sports here in the states.
So much so, that I'd be willing to sacrifice my big-screen TV and sound bar — pictured below — for a chance to win (I watch ALL my sports on that TV, so you know it's real!)
Despite Cuba Libre being the official drink of the BACARDÍ Untameable Fan, I'm more partial to the "Freedom Kick", a red, white and blue mix inspired by the colors of team USA! I encourage everyone to Enter to Win to rep your country and prove that your the best BACARDÍ Untameable Fan.
So what are you willing to sacrifice for a chance to watch the biggest match of the cup in one of the countries playing in the final game? Leave us a comment and let us know!
