Football season is a few months away, but that hasn’t slowed down New York Jets rookie safety Calvin Pryor‘s trash talking game. And in typical Jets fashion, Pryor is taking shots at the Jets biggest rivals; the Patriots and the Giants.
“Yeah, man,” Pryor stated in an interview with Jonas Schwartz on SportsNetNew York’s Daily News Live. “We don’t like Tom at all. When I first came here, that was one of the first things I heard about: We hate the Patriots, and we hate the Giants.
“That’s what everybody was telling me. We hate those guys, and I look forward to playing them this season.”
Pryor hasn’t taken a single NFL snap and he’s already in mid-season trash talking form. The first round pick out of Louisville will fit right in with brash Jets head coach Rex Ryan. He seems like just the type of player Ryan loves to have on his defense; confident, out-spoken, and aggressive.
The Jets face the Giants in the preseason and square off twice with the Patriots — October 16th and December 21st — giving Pryor plenty of opportunities to back up his talk.
