mike scottAtlanta Hawks second-year forward Mike Scott — if you’re saying ‘who?’, you aren’t alone — was absolutely unconscious from long range against the Pacers Monday night.

Scott, a 2012 second round pick out of Virginia, knocked down all five of his three point attempts as part of a 41-point quarter for the Hawks, putting the game out of reach for Indiana and giving eighth-seeded Atlanta a 3-2 lead in the series. Watch:

The craziest part is that Scott was shooting from almost the same spot every time. You would think that a team as defensively sound as the Pacers would have made an adjustment to contain him, but it didn’t happen.

The Pacers need to wake up and win game 6 in Atlanta or face one of the more embarrassing series defeats in recent memory.
