Sunday evening, Kentucky and Michigan gave up undoubtedly the best game of this year’s NCAA Tournament. And Kentucky freshman Aaron Harrison gave the Wildcats the win with the biggest shot of his life.
Locked in a 72-72 tie, Harrison got a pass from his twin brother Andrew before pulling up from long range to bury this incredibly clutch three pointer with less than five seconds remaining in the game:
The Wolverines had a chance to tie, but Nik Stauskas’s half-court heave fell short, granting the eighth-seeded Wildcats a birth into the Final Four.
Finishes like this are what March Madness so special.
