The Arizona Diamondbacks could have a tough time making the postseason this season. They’re in a tough NL West and their best young pitcher in Patrick Corbin just found out he’ll be out for the rest of the year with an elbow injury.
However, the team is trying to give their fans a treat still while giving new meaning to the phrase “fat and happy.”
As ESPN’s Darren Rovell tweeted out in a first-look (and as pictured up top) the Diamondbacks’ concessions stand will serve an 18-inch corndog this season. As if that wasn’t big enough, the corndog will also be stuffed with bacon and cheese and will come with a side of fries, all yours for the price of $25.
Baseball teams are always coming up with creative concessions, as we saw last year when the the minor league’s Charleston Riverdogs unveiled their beer milkshakes. As for the bacon-cheese corndog, let’s just hope no one cares so little about their health that they regularly grab one.
