The 2013-2014 Brooklyn Nets season took another strange and embarrassing turn on the last day of 2013.
While getting waxed 113-92 by the Spurs, San Antonio was trying to dribble out the clock but were whistled for a 24-second violation with 0.2 seconds left in the game.
The only problem was, there were not enough Nets players on the court to inbound the ball because the majority team had already head for the lockers. Head coach Jason Kidd then had to go to the locker room to get enough players to complete the game. Wow. Maybe they were trying to hit the showers early and make it to a few NYE parties.
This season has been a disaster for Brooklyn, and it would no shock at all if Kidd doesn’t last the season. This whole thing has been a high-risk situation that has gone terribly bad so far.
