The Golden State Warriors extended their NBA-best winning streak to seven games Thursday with a 123-114 road victory over the Miami Heat, thanks in large part to a big performance by point guard Stephen Curry.
Curry was on fire all night, hitting eight threes as part of his 36-point, 12-assist night. Thursday’s game was the fourth 30-point, double-digit assist game Curry has produced so far this season, and he’s also had a couple of 38+ point games where he dished out nine assists. Curry is currently leading all point guards in scoring (23.4), and his 9.6 assists per game rank second to only Chris Paul.
If there’s a point guard playing better in the NBA right now, I don’t know who it is.
