Remember when Teddy Bridgewater was the talk of college football? The Louisville quarterback began the season as a top candidate for the Heisman Trophy and was rated as the top QB prospect for the 2014 NFL Draft for his ability to make plays like this incredible touchdown pass he tossed against Cincinnati Thursday night:
On the season, the efficient Bridgewater has completed 70% of his passes for 3,523 yards, 28 touchdowns and just four interceptions, and has the Cardinals (11-1) in position to be selected to play in a high profile bowl game in a few weeks.
Most of the hype surrounding Bridgewater has subsided, but he’s still a pretty damn good quarterback with all the tools needed to succeed at the next level.
