cordarrelle pattersonIt took a few weeks before Minnesota Vikings rookie Cordarrelle Patterson hit his stride, but he’s been burning it up over the second half of the season.

In the Vikings final game of the season Patterson took a toss in the backfield, reversed field and ran 50 yards for a touchdown. Patterson also scored on an eight-yard reception that gave the Vikings a 14-13 victory.

Patterson finished his rookie season with nine total touchdowns and scored them in a variety of ways; he scored four on receptions, three on runs and added another two TDs via kickoff returns, including a NFL-record 109 yard. Despite the Vikings losing record, Patterson’s offensive versatility made Minnesota trading away Percy Harvin an afterthought and gives them an explosive weapon for years to come.
