Gordon set a record when he eclipsed the 200-yard mark in Sunday’s 32-28 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, becoming the first wide receiver in NFL history to accomplish the feat in consecutive games.
Gordon followed a 237 yard performance last week with 10 receptions for 261 yards and two touchdowns Sunday, including this 95-yard catch and run for a TD in the fourth quarter that put him over 200 yards:
The performance gave Gordon an incredible 623 combined receiving yards in his past three games. Not bad for a player the Browns selected in a supplemental draft in 2012.
Cleveland may still be searching for a franchise running back and quarterback, but at least they have a wide receiver they can build around. If they don’t trade him away, that is.
