Parker may be the most skilled on of the bunch, and he demonstrated on one play Tuesday night against East Carolina just how many ways he can impact a game:
Not only did Parker block the shot, but he secured the basketball, dribbled the length of the floor and made a nifty ball fake before finishing at the rim with the dunk. This also was Parker’s fifth game of over 20 points to start his freshman season. Plays like this are what has NBA GMs allegedly tanking the season in hopes of a high lottery pick next summer.
Maybe just me, but the resemblance in Parker’s game to a young Carmelo Anthony when he was a freshman at Syracuse is remarkable.
