Amar’e Stoudemire, due to a number of reasons that include his lower body injuries, has seen his role with the Knicks almost entirely diminish this season. He’s played in only seven of their 10 games and has seen the floor for just 11.1 minutes per game in those contests.
As he got some run against the Pistons on Tuesday night, though, Stat gave us a flashback to the days when he was one of the most exciting players in the league:
If you’re Luigi Datome there, you’re probably not expecting Amar’e to go up with that much power, but I’d bet the Italian rookie will be a little more hesitant to go up to contest Stoudemire if that situation ever arises again.
