Aaron RodgersThe Green Bay Packers suffered a couple losses during Monday Night Football against the Chicago Bears; they lost the game 27-20, and also lost all-pro quarterback Aaron Rodgers in the second quarter with what ESPN’s Adam Shefter is reporting as a fractured collarbone:

Rodgers left the game early in the first quarter a sack on the Packers first driveand did not return. Seneca Wallace replaced Rodgers in the huddle and finished the game going 11-19 for 114 yards and one interception.

As Shefter indicated, Rodgers status will be updated once he undergoes more tests Tuesday but the initial diagnosis isn’t pleasant, although Green Bay can sustain losing him for three weeks. ┬áThe Packers are current 5-3 and in a three-way tie with Chicago and the Detroit Lions for first place in the NFC North, and their next three games are all against teams with losing records: the Philadelphia Eagles, New York Giants and Minnesota Vikings have a combined record of 7-18 so far this season.

Rodgers has been one of the NFL’s most durable quarterbacks and has missed only two games since taking over as the Packers starter in 2008, and is currently second in the NFL in passer rating behind Peyton Manning at 108.0. He has completed over 66% of his passes and has thrown 15 touchdowns and only four interceptions so far in 2013.
