After seven seasons with the Utah Jazz Paul Millsap signed a two-year deal as a free agent to join the Atlanta Hawks this past summer. One of the more underrated big men in the NBA, Millsap should team with up Al Horford to give the Hawks a solid 1-2 two punch in the low post and become a fan favorite in Atlanta.
Saturday, the Boston Celtics came to town and Millsap brought the crowd at Philips Arena to their feet with this play in the second quarter.
Through the first 12 games of the season the 28-year old is averaging 15.9 points (52% FG), 7.2 rebounds, and 1.7 steals. More numbers like these (and plays like this) and Millsap may be a Hawk for longer than two years.
