Kyrie Irving is entering just his third season in the NBA with the Cleveland Cavaliers and is already being discussed in pretty high company around the league. He still has some work to do before he’s a superstar, but considering his age, it’s remarkable how close he is to that level.
Irving’s scoring ability is certainly a huge reason why he’s held in such high regard, but it’s also his ball-handling that makes him special. He put his handles on display Monday night against the Philadelphia 76ers:
Kyrie cares not for your double team, Michael Carter-Williams and Evan Turner.
There are many reasons why I can’t wait for the NBA regular season to get underway in a week, but Kyrie is certainly near the top of that list.
H/T to J.E. Skeets.
