Josh SmithThe Detroit Pistons got something in their final game of the preseason that we haven’t seen much of over the years; Josh Smith nailing a long jump shot.

Not only did he nail a jumper, Smith sank a three-pointer at the buzzer to give the Pistons a 99-98 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves:

In fitting style, Smith needed a little help from the rim but he made the shot nonetheless. Smith is a notoriously poor outside shooter and has hit only .283 of his career three point attempts, so hopefully Detroit isn’t planning on letting him jack up jumpers with regularity over the regular season. Still, Detroit can take some positives from their prized off-season acquisition’s performance to close out the preseason.
