With rookie Utah Jazz point guard Trey Burke sidelined due to a finger injury to start the 2013-14 NBA season, guard Alec Burks is certainly going to see a large chunk of minutes at the beginning of the year.
If he keeps producing plays like this one from their season-opener against the Thunder, I doubt the fans or the Jazz will mind too much at all:
Utah ended up dropping the game to OKC by a score of 101-98, but that shouldn’t take away from that impressive reverse. I’m still not even sure how Burks got that shot off, much less how he used black magic to make it find the bottom of the net.
