Despite having a down power year, Cincinnati Reds first baseman Joey Votto is still one of the best hitters in the majors. Votto maintained that reputation by slamming this mammoth home run against the Milwaukee Brewers on Saturday:
The shot measured at an estimated 470 feet, ranking as one of the longest hit this year and was Votto’s 23rd of the season, well short of the career-high of 37 that he hit in 2010. Votto has still held his own at the dish, and is batting .304 with a MLB-leading 117 walks with less than two weeks left in the season.
