After a 2012 NFL season with the New England Patriots where he failed to meet expectations, wide receiver Brandon Lloyd became a free-agent, but turned down the number of offers that were thrown his way.
It was unclear why Lloyd hadn’t signed with an NFL team initially, but now the dust has settled and we know the hilarious truth: Lloyd is giving up his NFL career (for now) to pursue a career as an actor.
As reported by Shutdown Corner, Lloyd will star in an upcoming movie entitled “After Effects” alongside Daniel Baldwin, one of the 7,542 Baldwin brothers (there are actually only four in reality, but close enough). To clarify, Daniel is the one who was in “Born on the Fourth of July” and “Vampires.” Side noted: Daniel Baldwin hasn’t been incredibly relevant in the new millennium.
The movie’s plot involves experiments at a college lab and zombies. Lloyd’s part in the film will be playing the part of Sgt. Chuck Lloyd, who one would have to assume is fighting said zombies.
Maybe Lloyd will be good in the film, but I would venture to guess that not many people will see the movie. That’s the risk you take when you’re in a movie with the least famous Baldwin.
