1: As a rookie with the Cleveland Cavaliers last season, it was clear that Tyler Zeller needed to bulk up if he wanted to be an effective NBA player for years to come.
2: Krispy Kreme doughnuts are delicious, but they’re pretty sure to make you gain weight.
That was exactly the plan for Zeller as he went on vacation earlier this summer. According to a report from the Cleveland Plain-Dealer, Zeller put on 20 pounds on vacation eating anything he wanted, including 10 Krispy Kreme doughnuts in one sitting.
Zeller is now weighing in between 255-260 pounds, around 10 pounds larger than he was listed last season. Zeller also added in the article that he turned that weight into less Krispy Kreme-y weight while working out this off-season, so there’s no worries about him looking fat.
When the season starts, though, Zeller might want to resist the Hot Now sign; those doughnuts probably won’t feel too good as he’s trying to get back in transition.
