HS Baseball Catch of Year

The Big26 contest, an All-Star Game for high school baseball players in Maryland and Pennsylvania, takes place every summer and is designed to showcase some of the best high school players in the two states.

Rising senior at Baltimore Northwestern High School Terrence Turner-Blair was at this year’s Big26 and he definitely put on a show with this catch here:

That’s a big league catch and full-on extension in centerfield by Turner-Blair. There are even major leaguers who can’t make that catch. With athleticism like that and already a semi-high profile, Turner, Blair might be someone to keep an eye on.

H/T to Prep Rally.

Not if he throws the ball back in like that all the time. He didn’t even hit the cut-off man at 2nd on the fly. The Cubs will probably draft him #1 for his D give him a $5 Mil bonus and release him the following year.

In a million years…on your best day…if your life depended on it…you could never make that catch.
