Andrew Bynum's deal w/ Cleveland will include $6 million of $12M guaranteed in year 1, league source says. Team option of $12.5M for 14-'15.

The Cavs wisely offered Bynum a two-year, incentive laden contract worth about $24.5 million that includes a team option for the second season and only $6 million guaranteed. The incentive-laced deal makes sense for Cleveland, as Bynum missed the entire 2012-2013 season with the Philadelphia 76ers due to his ailing knees.
Bynum was an all-star in his final season with the Lakers, averaging 18.7 points and 11.8 rebounds in 2011-2012. When healthy, Bynum is one of the top offensive centers in the NBA, but he has spent the majority of his career on the sidelines due to multiple knee injuries.
