Just a day after police were searching the home of Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez in connection with a homicide that occurred close to his home, TMZ is reporting that Hernandez has been sued earlier in June for shooting a man in the face in in Miami way back in February. Here are details:
According to the lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, Hernandez and Alexander S. Bradley went to Tootsie’s Cabaret in Miami on February 13, 2013 … and during the outing, the two men got into an argument.
Bradley claims … After the dispute, both men left the club — and got into the same car which was heading to Palm Beach. During the ride, Aaron allegedly aimed his weapon at Bradley … and the gun discharged, striking Bradley in the face.
Bradley claims he suffered major injuries from the gunshot … including the loss of his right eye.
The alleged victim also says he required reconstructive surgery to repair his face. Ouch. The report goes on to say that the suing is unrelated to Hernandez’s recent questioning by police.
Whether or not the allegations are true, it’s beginning to appear as if Hernandez is no saint. Patriots fans are just hoping that none of these allegations land Hernandez in more serious trouble. They need him after star Rob Gronkowski underwent back surgery recently.
