Pittsburgh Pirates center fielder Andrew McCutchen finished the 2012 season with a .327 batting average, 31 home runs, 96 RBI, 20 stolen bases, and a National League-leading 194 hits. He made his second consecutive All-Star Game appearance and took home his first Gold Glove and Silver Slugger Awards as well. McCutchen also finished third in the NL MVP voting.

Now that Andrew has firmly cemented himself among Major League Baseball’s elite, he can enjoy the spoils that come with it. Earlier this year McCutchen was voted as the cover athlete for the popular video game MLB 13: The Show. Now he has his own custom Beats by Dr. Dre headphones, which were shown during Saturday night’s broadcast of the Pirates-Angels game on ROOT Sports.

In April McCutchen bought Beats by Dre headphones for his teammates. It’s safe to say those aren’t quite as nice as the ones Andrew is sporting these days.

So far this season McCutchen is batting .288 with 8 home runs, 37 RBI, and 15 steals in 72 games. At the last update for National League All-Star voting he was seventh among outfielders with 1,319,419 votes.
