Michael Jordan Sheens

Charlie Sheen was pretty solid as Rick “Wild Thing” Vaughn in Major League. His father, Martin Sheen, also did a nice job as President Josiah “Jed” Bartlet on The West Wing. They also formed a team that took down Michael Jordan in a basketball contest

For a not-well-known television show in 1988 entitled War of the Stars, Charlie and Martin Sheen took on Michael Jordan in a series of three basketball contests. If the Sheens won two, they won the show; if Jordan won two, he won the show.

The first contest was free throw shooting, where each Sheen would shoot 10 and Jordan would shoot 20 with his eyes closed. The second contest was a game of HORSE where each Sheen would have a chance to make Jordan’s shot. The third was a game of two-on-one to 10 points where the Sheens would be spotted five points.

Without further ado, here is the 15-minute show:

Raise your hand if you had the Sheens pulling that off. Yeah, me neither.

Charlie Sheen is surprisingly not the worst free throw shooter in the world and both Sheens aren’t nearly as un-athletic as they appear.

Just for fun, here’s Charlie Sheen’s winning bucket and amazing celebration after their two-on-one victory in GIF form:

Thank you for this video, Internet.

H/T to Grantland.
