When the 2012 NFL season began Alex Smith was the starting quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers. By December second-year man Colin Kaepernick had taken a firm grasp on the job and run with it, literally.
Thriving in the Niners’ read option offense Kaepernick finished the regular season with 1,814 yards and 10 touchdowns passing. He also accounted for 415 yards with 5 more scores on the ground. Rap songs were made about him. He graced the cover of Sports Illustrated. Kaepernicking was born. Colin even got to do it with the First Lady. Kaepernick also made his way into the record book while helping San Francisco advance to the Super Bowl.
Thanks to Charity Buzz you now have an opportunity to swing the golf clubs with one of the NFL’s brightest young stars, if you have an extra couple thousand dollars at your disposal.
Proceeds from the winning bid will benefit Camp Taylor so you can feel confident your gracious pledge will be put to good use.
