Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban is always trying to find ways to raise publicity for his team and to simply get people talking about his team. He normally does this by any means necessary.

On Monday afternoon, he continued that trend by announcing on his blog that he would be crowd sourcing and letting fans send in designs for new Mavericks uniforms that could potentially be used starting in the 2015-2016 NBA season.

From the blog post:

The Mavs are going to re-do our uniforms for the 2015-16 season… if we get a unique and original design. What’s the best way to come up with creative ideas? You ask for them. So we are going to crowd source the design and colors of our uniforms.

You know what an NBA uniform looks like. You know what the Mavs colors are for today and the past.  We want some new ideas that stay true to our logo and at least close to our current color schemes. Show us what you got!

Cuban later says in the post that the Mavericks will own the design and most likely won’t be offering any compensation other than “bragging rights” or throwing “in a few tickets.” Either way, this seems like another solid attention grab for Cuban, which I’m sure is what he wants.

My programmer is trying to persuade me to move to .net from PHP.
I have always disliked the idea because of the costs.
But he’s tryiong none the less. I’ve been using
Movable-type on various websites for about a year and am concerned about switching to another platform.
I have heard excellent things about blogengine.net.
Is there a way I can import all my wordpress posts into it?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
