Utah Jazz forward Jeremy Evans has competed in the Sprite Slam Dunk Contest the past two All-Star Weekends, winning the contest in 2012. However, he rarely sees the floor for the Jazz, averaging less than 10 minutes per game.
On Monday night as the Jazz were blowing out the Portland Trail Blazers, though, Evans got on the floor. Making the most of his minutes, he made this unbelievable play:
The finish is pretty big and impressive. The craziest part about that oop, though, is the fact that Tinsley throws it when Evans is behind the three point line. And Evans still gets to it with what appears to be relative ease.
Evans may not have every basketball skill that he needs to have honed, but he is certainly one of the most athletic dunkers in the NBA.
