Tony Romo gets big contract extension and Donovan McNabb isn’t happy about it

Tony RomoAnd the big money keeps on coming. Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo was expected to get a contract extension sometime soon, and today just happened to be the day:

The deal is rumored to include $55 million in guaranteed money. Meanwhile, former NFL quarterback Donovan McNabb seems a bit perturbed by the specifics of Romo’s extension:

If memory serves me correctly McNabb, now 36, chose a studio gig over being a backup quarterback and proving that he was still NFL starter quality. I thought quarterbacks stuck together, but I digress.

Look for Matt Ryan and Aaron Rodgers to be the next to cash in with lucrative contract extensions before the season.

This is unbelievable, in big games Romo is “Bill Buckner on automatic”, I think everyone on the Cowboy’s staff will be trained in the heimlich manuever with all the choking that has gone on.

Donovan McNabb should shut his mouth about any one choking after the one super bowl he choked in.
