River Cats

The Sacramento River Cats, Triple-A affiliate of the Oakland A’s, play in the Pacific Coast League and have been home to names familiar to MLB fans like Carlos Gonzalez, Gio Gonzalez, Huston Street, Nick Swisher, and Barry Zito. But despite being in existence since 1978, and winning several league and division titles, the team has noticed an ongoing problem with the way their name has been spelled by those outside of the organization.

It’s gotten to the point where the River Cats have decided to set the record straight once and for all. This press release should help clear up any confusion.

Any questions?
