Sidney Crosby puck to facePittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby is arguably the NHL’s biggest superstar.

However, he’s had a difficult time maintaining his status of a household name over the past couple of years. Over two seasons from 2010-2012, Crosby missed 101 regular season games out of the 164 that were played due to complications from concussions.

Knowing his trouble with head injuries, this video probably made Penguins fans hold their breath:

That looks like it felt far from good.

The Islanders fans in Nassau Coliseum cheered as the Pittsburgh captain fell to the ice and went back to the locker room.

But the fans’ happiness was short-lived as Crosby returned to the ice just a few minutes after, having been examined and found not to have a broken nose. His nose was still swollen when the game was over, though.

The Penguins went onto win the game, 4-2, with Crosby notching one assist, but surprisingly no lost teeth.
