Logan Couture Kaepernicking

Eight days after 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick trademarked his “Kaepernicking” celebration, he’s already being mimicked in the sports world.

On Thursday in the San Jose Sharks’ game against the Edmonton Oilers, Logan Couture scored a goal in the middle of the second period. To celebrate, he decided to borrow from the man taking snaps for San Francisco on Sunday.

In regards to players from other sports borrowing celebrations, we’ll have to see if Couture follows Steve Novak’s path by hijacking the move or if it was just a Super Bowl week special.

That being said, it doesn’t look near as good when there’s three inches of pads covering your bicep.
