Derrick Rose has spent the entire season to date rehabbing his surgically-repaired ACL, giving Chicago Bulls fans hope that he may return at some point season. Rose recently began participating in 5-on-5 practices and was even caught on camera dunking pre-game Sunday:
Not bad for a player less than a year removed from major knee surgery but still not the uber-athletic Derrick Rose we were used to seeing prior to his injury. The Bulls are currently 32-24 and sixth in the East with 26 games remaining, so there isn’t much time left for Rose to make a serious impact.
If he does return this season, don’t expect to see the same explosive D. Rose until the 2013-2014 season at the earliest.
