At some point over the last month or so you may have heard Sunday’s Super Bowl will be the last game for Baltimore Ravens linebacker, and soon-to-be-Hall of Famer, Ray Lewis.
As the curtain comes down on his career the list of “lasts” for Ray Lewis begins to grow. Last regular season game, check. Last home game, check. On Friday Lewis participated in his final full practice. Sunday he’ll put on a Ravens jersey for the last time, record the last of what seems like countless tackles, and deliver his final motivational speech to teammates as an NFL player. When the game is over Lewis will unlace and take off the cleats from his last time patrolling the middle of the field, which are bright and courtesy of Under Armour.
We’ve apparently seen Ray do his signature dance for the last time as well.
Ray Lewis will not perform his signature pregame dance before the Super Bowl, according to ESPN’s Sal Paolantonio.
