The month of February is turning out to be a pretty big one for Alicia Keys.
Three days after she performed the National Anthem at Super Bowl XLVII, the 2013 NBA All-Star Game’s official Twitter had some big news regarding the 14-time Grammy Award winner.
On Feb. 17, just two weeks after the Super Bowl, Keys will be onstage in Houston at halftime of NBA All-Star Game.
The All-Star Game Twitter also had several other announcements to make.
With Keys on Sunday for the actual All-Star Game, John Legend will sing the National Anthem, Ne-Yo will perform during player introductions and Gloria Reuben will perform the Canadian National Anthem.
For All-Star Saturday night, Nick Cannon will be the host, RaVaughn Brown and Michelle Peavy will perform the National Anthem and Phillip Phillips, Ellie Goulding and Fall Out Boy will be performing throughout the night.
Talk about a wide-variety.
One thing that’s for certain, though, is that they will all have a hard time living up to the show Beyoncé put on at halftime of the Super Bowl.
