Jeremy Lin’s first technical foul cost him 2,000 McChicken sandwiches

Granted Jeremy Lin hasn’t been in the NBA a long time, just 120 games, but at some point during his 3,064 minutes played you’d think he would have gotten angry enough at a non-call or done something to warrant a technical foul, right? Wrong.

During the Houston Rockets’ 122-119 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday Jeremy Lin picked up his first technical foul. In the grand scheme of things the impact of it was minimal and James Harden dropping 46 points on his former team was the story of the game. Lin wasn’t too shabby himself, posting a 29 point, 6 rebound, 8 assist stat line.

Impressive game versus the Western Conference’s second seeded team aside, it was the technical foul Lin chose to comment on Thursday morning.

If I lost $2,000 I probably wouldn’t equate it to McChicken sandwiches or tacos from Jack In The Box. But hey, everyone’s different. Burrito bowls from Chipotle? Possibly.
