Two of the NBA’s top teams squared off Tuesday when the Oklahoma City Thunder faced the Los Angeles Clippers in Staples Center with the Thunder coming away with a 109-97 victory to secure the NBA’s best record.
But one comical highlight happened when Clippers forward Caron Butler violently swatted a Serge Ibaka jumper attempt out of bounds, hitting referee Derek Richardson square in the face:
