Scott Sterling, the son of long-time Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling, was found dead in a Malibu home Wednesday morning. Here are details courtesy of KTLA.com:
Detectives were called to the 22600 block of Pacific Coast Highway at 11:29 p.m. on Tuesday, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said.
The L.A. County Coroner’s office has confirmed that the deceased is the younger Sterling, age 32. An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death. The coroner’s office said it appeared to be a drug overdose.
Scott Sterling was reportedly also involved in a shooting incident back in 2009 but no charges were filed in the case.
Donald Sterling has owned the Clippers since 1981, relocating the franchise from San Diego to Los Angeles in 1984.
