Recently traded Justin Upton wants fans to help choose new Twitter handle

The Arizona Diamondbacks had seemingly pondered the idea of trading young, talented outfielder Justin Upton forever. Last week it finally happened. Arizona shipped Upton to the Atlanta Braves in a trade that included the super versatile Martin Prado heading the opposite direction. The Braves now boast one of MLB’s best outfields with Jason Heyward, Justin Upton, and his older brother B.J., who signed a five-year free agent deal in November.

Along with new teammates and a different ballpark to call home Justin will no longer have the familiar No. 10 on his back. A new number means so long to his current Twitter handle, which is brilliant. The good news is you have a chance to determine how Upton will be known for the foreseeable future to the Twitterverse.

Here are a few early submissions.

JustinTheGr8 is pretty strong. I like a version of Reuben’s shortened to JustinAtThePl8 as well.

No idea how long Justin will be taking suggestions so if you have something creative and good let him know ASAP.
