Hall of Fame point guard Isiah Thomas will be offering his commentary from the desk at NBA TV. It was announced on Wednesday that the former Detroit Pistons guard would be stepping into that analyst role.

Thomas is looking to reshape his image that was tarnished by his stints as head coach and team president of the New York Knicks.
While with New York, Thomas was unable to win a playoff game. He also gambled a large amount of money on the likes of Stephon Marbury and Eddy Curry. Just a heads up, those guys shouldn’t be getting big money.
There was also the sexual harassment scandal that surrounded Thomas from his time with the Knicks.
That’s a pretty historically bad run for Thomas since his playing-days ended.
Let’s hope he’s not that much of a train-wreck as an analyst.
