James Harden made his much anticipated return to his old stomping grounds tonight as a member of the Houston Rockets and brought with him a 25.1 ppg average, good for fifth in the NBA. When asked about his return Harden said it would be “just another game” and he may very well believe that.
I’m not so sure former teammates Russell Westbrook and Serge Ibaka feel the same way.

The start proved to be a microcosm of the evening for Harden, who finished with 17 points but shot just 3-16 from the floor and was held without a field goal (0-8) in the first half.
The good thing is it was just another game and didn’t mean anymore than yesterday’s game against the Raptors or the one Saturday versus the Jazz.
