A heart condition, and subsequent surgery, forced Boston Celtics forward Jeff Green to miss the 2011-2012 season but he’s back and has been a solid contributor off the bench for head coach Doc Rivers through the first handful of games this season. Green has been labeled in the past as passive. He was anything but on this play.
I’m going to disregard the technical foul for taunting, it’s completely justified.
As Utah Jazz big man Al Jefferson found out Green provides the Celtics with athleticism in addition to an all-around skill set. And he’s only going to get better as the season goes on and his role in Doc Rivers’ rotation increases.
It’s good to have you back Jeff.
