As the Denver Broncos continued to roll with a 30-23 victory over the San Diego Chargers so did Peyton Manning, who continues to rewrite the NFL record book. He came into today’s game tied with Dan Marino for second on the all-time passing touchdown list with 420. After an official’s review this 13-yard connection with Demaryius Thomas gave Manning 421.
Peyton completed 25 of 42 passes on the day, ending his NFL record streak of games with a completion percentage of 70% or more at six, for 270 yards and three touchdowns.
Denver is now 7-3 and holds a three-game lead in the AFC West. Manning has completed 69% of his passes for 2,975 yards with 24 touchdowns and 7 interceptions on the season and is building a fairly strong case for fifth MVP Award.
