There are game-winning touchdowns and there are game-winning touchdowns. Indianapolis Colts rookie running back Vick Ballard took a pass from Andrew Luck in overtime yesterday and scored on one of best effort plays you may see in the NFL this season to beat the Tennessee Titans.
I’m not exactly sure how to describe that, but I like Ballard’s explanation.
“I don’t have a name for it. I call it, ‘get in the end zone, the game is on the line.’” – Ballard on his game-winning dive.
The fifth round draft choice from Mississippi State finished the game with 55 yards rushing on 12 carries. This was his only reception on the day. Way to make it count, Vick.
