The hard part of winning the World Series is over for the San Francisco Giants. Now they can enjoy the festivities that come with it, like the traditional victory parade. Franchise greats Willie Mays, Orlando Cepeda, Juan Marichal, Willie McCovey, and Gaylord Perry were in attendance. So were 49ers quarterback Alex Smith and head coach Jim Harbaugh, who each drove convertibles for Giants players. Smith chauffeured Matt Cain. Harbaugh did the honors for Brandon Belt.
San Francisco Government Television was kind enough to post the celebration outside of City Hall for those who weren’t able to attend or watch it live earlier. If you were able to do either and just want to see it again that’s perfectly fine too.
Bullpen ace Sergio Romo won the day with this t-shirt.
