North Carolina’s Giovani Bernard is one of the ACC’s best players and probably its best running back. The sophomore came into today leading the conference in rushing yards (795) and was the only ACC player averaging 100+ yards a game on the ground (132.5). Bernard added to those numbers with 23 carries for 135 yards and two rushing touchdowns this afternoon against instate rival NC State. He also led UNC with 8 catches for 95 yards. And he won the game for the Tar Heels with this punt return.
