Saskatoon and Regina are separated by less than a three hour drive in Saskatchewan, Canada with one being the province’s capital (Regina) and the other its largest city. This past weekend the Lingerie Football League Canada franchises from each city went head-to-head with the Saskatoon Sirens taking the loss on their home turf to the Regina Rage 26-20. Not only was there a hotly contested game taking place on the Credit Union Centre floor but things got a bit heated in the stands as well.
These are more than exhibition games folks, bragging rights are on the line! Just ask the guy in the Rob Gronkowski jersey. Or the lady in the cream colored jacket.
Saturday’s result brought the record of both teams to 2-1 with the rematch taking place on October 21 in Regina. Security will be ready.
