Photos: Ray Allen selling 11,000 sq ft Massachusetts mansion for $5.2 million

After five seasons with the Seattle SuperSonics Ray Allen was traded to the Boston Celtics in 2007. With them he won his only NBA championship to date and became the league’s all-time leader in three-point field goals made.

But all wasn’t good in Beantown, atleast not towards the end. This past offseason Allen rejected a two-year deal from the Celtics to accept a three-year offer from the Miami Heat. Many cited the sharpshooter not getting along with Rajon Rondo as the reason for Allen’s decision. Celtics head coach Doc Rivers says he was a factor. Whatever the case, the one-time member of Boston’s Big Three is now in Miami looking to help the Heat’s Big Three claim a second consecutive championship.

So that means the future Hall of Famer doesn’t need this 11,000+ square foot, 9 bedroom, 9.5. bathroom, Massachusetts mansion with a six-car garage, gameroom, and home theater that our friends at Trulia passed along photos of.

$5.2 million seems reasonable. That gated property life isn’t cheap.
