Mike Holmgren, former head coach of the Packers and Seahawks, is no longer the team president of the Cleveland Browns, per a report from ESPN’s Ed Werner.

New Browns owner Jimmy Haslam, who is closing on purchasing the Browns next week, will be replacing Holmgren with Joe Banner as CEO/president. Banner was president of the Philadelphia Eagles from 1995-2012 and is part of Haslam’s group that is purchasing the Browns.

The Browns had a 9-28 record with Holmgren as team president while struggling to be competitive in recent years due to questionable draft picks and poor personnel decisions. We will have more information as it becomes available.
